We reviewed our practice assignments and handed in the review of sentence types. Students have a short quiz tomorrow on the three types of sentences and non-fiction reading. We began examining the structure of an expository paragraph and began our outline. Students are writing a personal response paragraph to an article suggesting that school should not start earlier than 8:30 am. We will continue with the outline and begin our draft tomorrow. Students are asked to come to class with an introductory sentence and two body sentences (inferences) in support.
