We composed the introductory paragraphs for our comparative essay and began work on the body paragraphs.

We continued viewing ON GOLDEN POND after a brief visit to the library to exhange AR reading materials.
We began veiwing the film ON Golden Pond. Students completed a character sketch sheet for the characters of Norman and Billy while viewing to prepare for our comparitive essay assignment.
We reviewed the key themes and discussed the comparison activity that we wil begin tomorrow. Students added to and acompleted their character sketch notes for "The Jade Peony" including page numbers and quotations from the story as we reviewed and discussed the story in class. We will complete an identical character sketch for the two main characters in "On Golden Pond" tomorrow in class.
